Thalia Ellice and Zed Bias Debut The Summer Remix of “Temporary”

Thalia Ellice’s “Temporary” remix with Zed Bias: A new addition to your summer playlist

Thalia Ellice, an emerging alt-pop R&B artist, just released a remix of her single “Temporary,” now reworked by the renowned Zed Bias. This remix breathes new life into the track, offering a vibrant UKG sound that contrasts beautifully with the introspective nature of the original song.

Ellice, who is not just a singer but also a songwriter, seamstress, and aspiring neuropsychologist, brings a distinctive vibe to her music. Her background in neuropsychology significantly influences her approach to songwriting, often using her music as a therapeutic tool to explore complex emotions and mental health themes.

This influence is evident in ‘Temporary,’ the track is a deeply personal exploration of fleeting moments and emotions, capturing the transient nature of life and relationships with lyrics like, “Often tend to cry when you’re not there, something seemed to change and it’s not fair.”

Zed Bias, known for his influential work in the UK garage scene, has infused the remix with energetic beats and a lively tempo, altering the introspective original into a dance-ready anthem. “Thalia’s song had a lot of emotional depth,” Bias explains. “My aim was to enhance that emotion with a beat that adds a fresh, high-energy vibe for summer.”

This collaboration is a big move for Ellice, who has already garnered attention with tracks like “Feelings” and “Psycho.” The “Temporary” remix shows she’s not afraid to switch up her sound and experiment with new styles. When Ellice sings, “I know that you try but at the same time, when I look in your eyes, I can’t believe a single word that you say ’cause they are riddled with lies,” the emotions hit hard. And with Zed Bias’s beats backing her up, you feel it even more.

This remix is a vibe. It shows Thalia’s versatility as an artist, and manages to be about the highs and lows of a relationship, living in the moment, and dancing through your feelings all at the sane time, making it a great addition to any summer playlist.
