TP4 Style’s ITAN SS24 Collection Celebrated Culture At Swansea Fashion Week

As music pulsed through Swansea’s Venue No.1, Models walked the runway in TP4 Style’s ITAN SS24 collection in front of fashion enthusiasts and attendees alike.
The first look to grace the runway was the “Candle Suit: Ejiogbe,” a striking ensemble with intricate beadwork that paid homage to the brand’s Nigerian heritage, and revealed the collection’s ethos. “Each piece tells a story.” says Temitope Ogunseitan, creative Director of TP4 Style.

Next up was the “Fringe Hat: IRANSE,” a bold accessory adding whimsy to the collection. The fringes were crafted from repurposed materials, transforming the ordinary into extraordinary art.

The “Black and White Suit: ODUDUWA” blended timeless monochrome elegance with contemporary silhouettes. Confidence and cultural pride were woven into every stitch, as the sharp lines, tailored fit, and intricate Nigerian embroidery beamed through the seams.

As the ethereal “White Gown: IGBA LODE” floated down the runway, an awestruck audience watched the delicate lace and flowing fabrics move like a dance. “This piece seemed to celebrate the grace and inner strength of women.”

The “Suite with Threadworks: OPELE” showed richly textured fabrics, intricate detailing and TP4’s artistry. “Each stitch, each embellishment told a story behind the skilled craftsmen that created it.”

A vibrant “Coloured Tapestry (Ofi)” exploded with hues and patterns celebrating African roots. Models moved with confident strides as the clothes represented a visual feast of diversity and self-expression.

When the final “Black Gown (AREWA)” made its appearance, hushed reverence filled the room. The sleek gown’s beadwork and embroidery provoked show-goers to think, about the heritage woven into every creation.

Throughout, models embodied the spirit of TP4 Style. “They don’t just wear the clothes, they become storytellers through fashion,” explained the designer of their impassioned performances.

With each beautifully crafted piece, TP4 Style not only showcased stunning designs but also offered a window into the rich cultural heritage of the Yorùbá people. In doing so, they left a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed their show unfold on the runway at Swansea Fashion Week.
