The Best Front-Row Style at London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week has always been known for more than just the runway. The front row, filled with A-listers, style icons and fashion insiders, is often just as captivating as the designs showcased on the catwalk. This year, London Fashion Week 2024 marked its 40th anniversary, and the front-row fashion did not disappoint. From sleek minimalism to bold statement pieces, it was a masterclass in personal style.

At the heart of the excitement was Harry Styles, whose quick appearance on day one made headlines. Styles, known for his fearless fashion choices, flew in to support SS Daley’s first womenswear presentation, sporting a mullet and a chic outfit that combined effortless cool with high fashion. His presence set the tone for a week filled with unforgettable fashion moments.

As the days rolled on, the front row was packed with an eclectic mix of celebrities and fashion influencers including Jourdan Dunn, Anna Wintour, Jodie Turner Smith, Skepta, Lucky Blue Smith, and Nara Smith, Gabrielle Union, Rosie Huntington Whiteley. Skepta’s presence at the Burberry Spring Summer 2025 show was particularly noteworthy as he effortlessly combined streetwear with high fashion, showcasing his signature edgy style that always turns heads. His choice of outfit, a double-breasted suit with distinctive street elements, added an extra layer of excitement to the fashion week.

Adding to the diversity of LFW were Ahluwalia and Tolu Coker, whose innovative designs brought a fresh perspective to the event. Ahluwalia’s fusion of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics was a hot topic among attendees, while Tolu Coker’s vibrant and unconventional creations pushed the boundaries of fashion.

Chopova Lowena’s Friday night show, a highlight of the week, brought out a stunning array of high-octane looks, with daring textures and vibrant colors lighting up the audience just as much as the runway.

Simone Rocha’s attendees embraced the designer’s playful yet provocative spirit. We saw crystal embellishments, voluminous silhouettes, and unexpected accessories, all worn with an air of ease and confidence. It was a beautiful reflection of how front-row fashion can blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

Another standout was the show for Standing Ground, where the front row captured the essence of British style — unpretentious yet undeniably chic. Classic tailored pieces sat alongside edgy, modern designs, showing the versatility and creativity that London has become famous for over the decades.

But it wasn’t just about the fashion veterans. New names like Karoline Vitto and Chet Lo attracted a younger crowd who weren’t afraid to take risks. Bold colors, avant-garde silhouettes, and a certain rebellious energy defined their shows, and the front row matched that vibe perfectly. Their audiences brought a fresh perspective to what it means to “dress up” for fashion week — mixing streetwear with high fashion in ways that felt fresh, fearless, and, most importantly, fun.
