Sinead Gorey’s LFW Collection Was Inspired by the Walk of Shame

Sinead Gorey’s AW25 collection at London Fashion Week was a love letter to the chaotic, glamorous, and sometimes regrettable nights that blur into the next morning. This season, Gorey captures the essence of the girl who never planned to stay out late but somehow finds herself on the first train home, outfit slightly askew, memories of bass-heavy clubs still ringing in her ears.

“It’s a reflection of where I’m at in my life,” Gorey says of the collection. “I wanted to bring together the Sinead Gorey brand with the Sinead Gorey person.” The result? A collection that feels both effortless and precise, designed for the woman who moves seamlessly from desk to dancefloor, from post-work drinks to an all-nighter that ends in a 6 AM Uber ride.

Tailoring is twisted and reworked—corporate staples morph into party pieces with plunging necklines, cinched waists, and deconstructed suiting. Crisp cotton shirting, seemingly demure at first glance, comes with rounded collars, deep buttoned fronts, and a few well-placed lipstick smudges. Chainmail dresses shimmer under club lights, while tartan maxis and bubblegum pink jackets deliver that perfect mix of grunge and glamour.

Accessories play their part in telling the story. Shearling Daisy Dukes and oversized faux furs are styled with an air of ‘I-just-threw-this-on’ nonchalance, while Mongolian-fringed coats make a case for statement outerwear. Gorey’s signature club-kid edge remains intact, with lingerie-inspired bodysuits, trompe l’oeil prints, and ‘No Knickers’ slogan tees reinforcing the rebellious spirit that defines her woman.

This collection is all about hybridity—workwear with a devil-may-care attitude, eveningwear that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s for the woman who lives for the thrill of the night but knows exactly how to handle the morning after. Gorey’s AW25 collection is a celebration of the party, the aftermath, and everything in between.
