Molly Roberts Unveils New Single “Hurricane” Ahead of Six Nations Spotlight

Welsh singer-songwriter Molly Roberts is making waves with her highly anticipated new single, “Hurricane”, which dropped on 6th February 2026. Co-written with GRAMMY award-winning songwriter Amy Wadge, the track promises the kind of soul-stirring songwriting that has quickly become Molly’s signature.

Fans who’ve followed Molly’s rise know her for unforgettable vocals and heartfelt lyrics, with her breakout hit “Goodbye” amassing over 2.2 million views online. Now, she’s ready to bring her latest creation to a national stage—literally. Molly will perform “Hurricane” live at half-time during the Six Nations Wales v France match at Principality Stadium on 15th February, broadcast live on BBC 1.

The song combines modern pop sensibilities with timeless emotion, showing Molly’s ability to capture complex feelings in a single, soaring melody. Her live performances have become legendary, having played Latitude Festival, opened for Jess Glynne, Kate Nash, Professor Green, and Sigma, and performed at Principality Stadium during the European Championships.

Molly has also toured across Europe, supporting Amy Wadge, Cap Carter, and Jude York, while selling out her own headline shows across the UK. Radio love has followed her too, with 32 weeks on the BBC Radio Wales A-List under her belt.

With a debut EP slated for later in 2026 and work underway on an upcoming Netflix soundtrack, Molly Roberts is firmly cementing her place as one of Wales’ most exciting musical exports. As the South Wales Argus puts it: “Molly is something very special: the next great to come from Wales.”
