What’s the Real Deal With Michael Rubin’s All-White Party?

Move over Met Gala! The 4th of July might be a day for hotdogs, fireworks, and American flags, but in the Hamptons, it’s also the day for Michael Rubin’s legendary all-white party. This year, the CEO of Fanatics, along with his partner Camille Fishel, hosted what has fast become one of the Hamptons’ most talked-about events. The guest list was a who’s who of sports, Hollywood, and social media, all dressed in shades of white and ready to party.

A Star-Studded Affair

The elite descended on Bridgehampton, New York, arriving at Rubin’s gleaming glass beachfront home from around 5 p.m. Paparazzi were stationed outside, capturing the arrival of stars like Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Tom Brady, Winnie Harlow, Teyana Taylor, and many more. Inside, the scene was just as glamorous. Camila Cabello and Emily Ratajkowski rocked drapey mini dresses, while Megan Fox went preppy in an eyelet mini. Not to be outdone, Winnie Harlow stunned in a beaded cowl-neck minidress with a hood.

Celebrity Drama and Reunions

The party wasn’t without its share of drama. Exes Khloe Kardashian and James Harden found themselves in the same room, a potentially awkward situation for the former couple. Meanwhile, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly used the event to publicly reignite their romance, launching their relationship back into the spotlight after a previous breakup. Influencers Alix Earle and Xandra Pohl, who rose to fame on TikTok and were once inseparable at the University of Miami, were both at the party. Despite their history and the swirling rumors of a fallout, the two weren’t seen together, leaving everyone guessing about the state of their friendship.

The Kendrick Lamar Ban

One of the party’s most buzzed-about moments wasn’t a guest but a song—or rather, the lack of one. Drake, who attended the party, didn’t have to endure Kendrick Lamar’s wide-spread diss track “Not Like Us.” TMZ reported that the DJs skipped Lamar’s hits, ensuring Drake enjoyed a Lamar-free night. The Canadian rapper posed for a photo with Rubin, looking relaxed and unbothered by the summer’s hottest beef.

Tobey Maguire Sparks Dating Rumors

Meanwhile, Tobey Maguire, the 49-year-old Spider-Man star, was spotted leaving with 20-year-old model and actress Lily Chee, sparking dating rumors and social media backlash due to their wide age difference. With his arm around her, Maguire set the gossip mills spinning, but his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, quickly defended him. Meyer clarified that Maguire was just “being a good guy” and helping a friend to her car. Drama averted—for now.

The Price of Admission

Not everyone was lucky enough to get an invite. Some reportedly offered up to $5 million to score an RSVP, but even that wasn’t enough to gain entry. Bethenny Frankel took to TikTok to lament her exclusion, calling the party a “summer fronting and stunting Met Gala.” She even joked about the effort Rubin puts into his golden ticket invitations, but with a guest list like his, it’s clear he’s succeeding.

Lavish Party Favours

Those who did make it in were treated like royalty. Guests munched on Nobu’s fatty tuna, Lucali’s margherita pizza, and Rao’s famous meatballs. As if that wasn’t enough, each guest went home with personalised Air Jordan 1 Low sneakers, a coveted collaboration between Nike and Travis Scott.

A Night to Remember

The party sprawled across Rubin’s home and into tents set up in the beach dunes. Entertainment was top-notch, starting with Shaboozey, who kicked off the evening with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” R&B legend Mary J. Blige followed, performing her classic “Be Happy,” much to the delight of Lil Wayne, who couldn’t stop gushing about her. As the night went on, the beach lit up with fireworks, and a dance party ensued. Alesso, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Bryson Tiller, A$AP Ferg, and Travis Scott all took turns on stage, keeping the energy high well past midnight.

By the time the 5th of July rolled around, the party was still going strong.

So, what’s the real deal with Michael Rubin’s All-White Party? It’s exclusive, it’s extravagant, it’s the place to be for A-listers on Independence Day, and it’s the closest thing we’ve got to a modern-day Great Gatsby bash.
