VIVZ World Debuts on London Fashion Week 2025 Calendar

On September 22, 2025, London felt a little more global than usual. As part of the official London Fashion Week calendar, VIVZ World Fashion Week took over the beautiful St. John’s Church in Hyde Park, turning the historic venue into a space buzzing with creativity, culture, and forward-thinking fashion.

This was a celebration of storytelling, sustainability, and the kind of diversity that makes fashion feel alive. With seven designers from across the world and the exciting international debut of two student designers from VIVZ Fashion School, the night perfectly balanced experience with fresh perspective.

Pallavi Shinde and Chaitali Sakai

One of the most special moments of the evening belonged to Pallavi Shinde and Chaitali Sakai, who made their first-ever international runway appearance. Their collections were youthful, bold, and full of promise, reflecting exactly what VIVZ World Fashion Week stands for: giving emerging designers a real platform on one of fashion’s biggest stages. Watching their work come to life on a London Fashion Week runway felt like witnessing the beginning of something special.

Core

The established designers brought just as much depth and diversity to the show. Tokyo-based designer Core opened with Unveil the Core, a gender-fluid collection centred around the universal shirt. Using traditional Kojima denim craftsmanship paired with modern silhouettes, the collection spoke to freedom, authenticity, and self-expression without boundaries.

Satomi

Environmental storytelling took centre stage with Satomi, el beso. Inspired by Japanese folklore and marine conservation, Satomi Takakura’s Dragon Palace of the Indian Ocean felt ethereal and urgent at the same time. The collection gently reminded the audience of the fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world, proving that fashion can be both poetic and political.

Leo Norma

Designer Leo Norma, whose roots trace back to Morocco and training to Paris, delivered a striking fusion of cultures. His collection blended Moroccan heritage with European sophistication, celebrating plural beauty and cultural connection through elegant yet confident designs.

Chona Bacaoco Milano

Sustainability continued to shine with Chona Bacaoco Milano, who presented Sunrise. Crafted from deadstock fabrics and organic textiles, the collection radiated hope and renewal. Each piece felt intentional, reinforcing the idea that luxury and responsibility can exist together beautifully.

Nandita Mahtani

Adding a sense of effortless glamour, Nandita Mahtani showcased a collection that merged traditional Indian embroidery with modern, global silhouettes. Known for redefining resort wear, her designs felt opulent yet wearable, striking that rare balance between comfort and sophistication.

Pucai

Drama and folklore came alive through London-based brand Púcaí, whose SS26 collection Black Dahlia drew inspiration from Irish mythology. The runway transformed into a world of mystery and wilderness, combining modern elegance with a darker, mythical edge that held the audience’s attention from start to finish.

Lau Sin Yi

Rounding out the designer lineup was Lau Sin Yi, who is known for celebrating imperfections and individuality. Her zodiac-inspired collection featured intricate detailing, diamonds, and hand-painted elements, reflecting cultural symbolism and the beauty of embracing what makes us different.

Beyond the garments, the atmosphere of the night was elevated by thoughtful creative direction. Hair and makeup, led by Glow by Elena Dragomir, brought each look together with precision and artistry, while a live performance by Natalie Good added another emotional layer to the evening, reminding everyone that fashion doesn’t exist in isolation — it thrives alongside music and performance.

At its core, VIVZ World Fashion Week continues to prove that fashion is more than clothes. It is a form of cultural exchange, a space for sustainability-driven innovation, and a platform where emerging voices can stand confidently beside established names.

By officially joining the London Fashion Week calendar, VIVZ has cemented its place as a global fashion stage that bridges tradition with modernity, and today’s icons with tomorrow’s designers. And if this season was anything to go by, VIVZ World Fashion Week is only just getting started.
