MICHAELA Releases Her Flirty New Summer Bop “Fight Myself”

London-based pop newcomer MICHAELA is entering her main character era—and she’s doing it with glitter, groove, and a whole lot of emotional honesty. Her brand new single “Fight Myself” is a dancefloor-ready pop record that feels like texting your friends from the bathroom of the club to overthink your situationship, in the best way.

Co-written with Disney Publishing US-signed writers Nick Pingree (Justin Bieber) and Julian Bell, “Fight Myself” plays in that messy, delicious space between new crush butterflies and the baggage you swore you’d healed from. With a chorus that hits like a post-midnight confession and production made for the strobe lights, MICHAELA combines pop and R’n’B energy with an emotional edge that’ll have you dancing through the feels.

It’s all there in the delivery, smooth, flirty vocals glazed over punchy pop production, a hook that stays with you for days, and just enough vulnerability to make you hit replay when the night winds down. It’s giving heartbreak, but make it hot.

This isn’t MICHAELA’s first rodeo either. With over 5 million streams across DSPs, she’s already made serious waves, writing for names across Dance, K-Pop, and Latin genres, and landing two 2025 K-pop placements with Loosemble. She’s worked with some of the best in the biz—Naughty Boy, Mae Muller, Diane Warren, Simon Ellis, and Oliver Frid (Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa), to name a few—and her pen is as sharp as her style.

After spending the past year bouncing between writing camps in LA, London, and Cyprus, MICHAELA is stepping into her new era with clear vision and unmatched confidence.
