Whether you’re passionate about photography, writing, social media, event management, or podcast production, we offer opportunities for you to develop your skills while contributing to a growing platform dedicated to showcasing emerging talent and culture.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to fill the following positions:

Presenter Intern

KLAT Magazine is looking for passionate and dynamic individuals to join our team as Presenter Interns. This role offers the unique opportunity to represent KLAT Magazine and engage with audiences across various platforms. You’ll host interviews, events, and video content, bringing your unique voice and perspective to our content. The Presenter Intern role is divided into three categories based on your area of interest and expertise:

• Fashion Presenter Intern – If you’re passionate about fashion, this is the perfect opportunity for you to present fashion events, interviews with emerging designers, and create content that highlights the ever-evolving world of fashion culture.
• Music Presenter Intern – For those with a deep passion for music, you’ll present interviews with musicians, explore new genres, and share the latest in music trends and emerging talent.
• Arts & Culture Presenter Intern – If the arts and culture scene excites you, this role will have you covering exhibitions, cultural events, and interviews with artists. You’ll engage with both established and emerging figures shaping the cultural landscape.

Videographer Intern

In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to create captivating video content, from behind-the-scenes footage to interviews and special features. A great opportunity for someone passionate about filmmaking, editing, and creating visually impactful stories.

Photographer Intern

As a Photographer Intern, you’ll capture the essence of our editorial features, events, and the world of creative culture. Whether you’re shooting for online content or social media, this position allows you to work on exciting digital visual projects and develop your portfolio.

Content Writer Intern

KLAT Magazine is looking for talented writers to contribute to our editorial content. The role will be divided into three categories:

• Arts & Culture Writer Intern – Focus on covering contemporary art, cultural movements, exhibitions, and more. This role is for someone with a keen interest in the global arts scene and cultural storytelling.
• Fashion Writer Intern – Write about emerging designers, trends, and fashion culture. Ideal for those passionate about the fashion industry and its influence on culture.
• Music Writer Intern – Cover music trends, emerging artists, and genre-defining moments in the music industry. This role is perfect for someone with a love for music and a deep interest in new sounds and talent.

Social Media Intern

As a Social Media Intern, you’ll manage and create engaging content across our platforms, from Instagram and Twitter to TikTok. You’ll help maintain KLAT’s online presence and grow its community while showcasing emerging talent and creative trends.

Events & PR Intern

This internship will immerse you in the world of event planning and public relations. From coordinating events to crafting press releases and engaging with event venues, you’ll gain a wealth of experience in event promotion, networking, and brand communication.

Research Intern

As a Research Intern, you’ll dive deep into identifying new artists, trends, and emerging cultural movements. Your work will support KLAT’s editorial and content creation, ensuring that our magazine stays ahead of the curve and spotlights cutting-edge creativity.

Sound Intern (Podcast Production)

If you have a passion for audio production, this internship is for you. As a Sound Intern, you will assist in the creation of our podcasts, including editing, sound design, and producing high-quality audio content. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in podcasting and sound engineering.

Film Research Intern

The Film Research Intern will focus on researching the film industry in Wales, identifying key players, emerging talent, production companies, and ongoing projects. They will help KLAT Magazine tap into this industry by gathering insights, sourcing interview opportunities, and contributing to editorial features on Welsh cinema.

Internship Details:

• Location: All internships are remote, with the exception of events. Interns may be required to attend events in person, depending on the needs of the role.
• Working Hours: Interns will need to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week and may be asked to visit the office on occasion.
• Compensation: Please note that these are unpaid internships.
• Duration: Internships will typically last 3-6 months, depending on availability and the project timeline.
• Learning Opportunities: This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your chosen area of interest and develop a professional portfolio. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and work closely with an experienced team in a supportive environment.
