Lily Fitts Releases New Record ‘Getting By’ And Embarks On Headline Tour Across The US And Europe

“If listeners take anything from this album, let it be this: it’s okay to not have it all figured out.”

That single quote from Lily Fitts, 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Boston, perfectly sums up her debut album Getting By—out now on Thirty Knots Records. Across ten heartfelt tracks, she delivers a stunning combination of indie-folk and alternative country, pairing warm acoustic textures with sharp lyrical honesty. Whether she’s singing about grief, anxiety, heartbreak, or the quiet moments in between, Lily’s vulnerability hits like truth.

Since the release of her first single in 2023, Lily has built a reputation for soul-stirring storytelling. With songs like “Brown Eyed Baby” and “In The Dirt” already amassing millions of streams, Getting By was one of the year’s most anticipated debuts, and it delivers. This isn’t just an album; it’s a coming-of-age companion for anyone who knows what it feels like to survive, to struggle, and to still hold on to hope.

“Even in the chaos, there’s still strength, there’s still beauty in being vulnerable, and there’s always a glimmer of hope that can pull you through,” Lily shares.

Raised in Boston, Lily has been sharing music online since the age of 9, covering acoustic tracks and slowly growing her audience. It was her TikTok covers that began drawing attention from artists like Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Sam Barber, and The Lumineers. That momentum led to a surreal moment—performing live with Zach Bryan at his sold-out Crypto Arena show in LA.

Since then, Lily has earned over 34 million streams across digital platforms, performed at major festivals like Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Lovin’ Life, Springfest, and Extra Innings, and supported artists including Michael Marcagi, Sam Barber, and Myles Smith on tour.

Now, with Getting By released, Lily is officially heading out on her first-ever headline tour, appropriately titled The Getting By Tour. The tour spans 11 cities across the U.S., including LA, Chicago, Phoenix, Brooklyn, and Nashville. She’s also making her UK headline debut at The Grace in London on July 3rd, which sold out in just three days—followed by a performance at BST Hyde Park on July 4th, alongside Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, FINNEAS, and Gigi Perez.

And she’s not slowing down anytime soon. Lily will also be joining Willow Avalon for select summer shows in Canada and Europe, and opening for Max McNown on eight European tour dates in cities like Dublin, Manchester, Amsterdam, Paris, and London (twice!).

Behind the success, Lily is just a young woman who writes to connect. Influenced by a wide spectrum of artists and genres, her music doesn’t chase trends, it sits in its own lane. Her voice, soft, textured, and emotionally raw—feels like a conversation with an old friend. And with Getting By, she’s offering listeners a space to feel seen.

Whether you’re deep in your feels or trying to pull yourself out of a rut, Lily Fitts has likely written something that’ll resonate.

And if this is what she can do on her debut… imagine what comes next.
