Show Dem Camp and The Cavemen- No Love in Lagos The rap duo of Wale Davies and Olumide Ayeni, also known as Show Dem Camp (SDC) released “No Love In Lagos.” featuring guitarist Nsikak David and “The Cavemen,” the highlife duo of Kingsley Okorie and Benjamin James, the track explores the complexities of love and relationships in the bustling city of Lagos.

Fireboy DML-Need me “Need Me” is a perfect mix of heartfelt emotion and energetic rhythm, making it a great addition to any playlist. Her’s-What Once Was What Once Was” by the indie-pop duo Her’s is a nostalgic track that weaves together dreamy melodies and reflective lyrics, capturing the bittersweet feeling of longing for the past. Written out of the frustration of feeling like there’s never enough time, Olivia’s lyrics, “It’s up to me to spend my time. Charli XCX-Talk Talk (ft Troye Sivan) As “Brat” summer fades into “Brat” fall, Charli XCX releases her highly anticipated remix of “Talk Talk”, featuring her “Sweat” tour co-headliner Troye Sivan, bringing new life to this standout track from her album Brat. With the help of Troye Sivan’s smooth vocals and a surprise appearance by Dua Lipa, who adds French and Spanish flair to the mix, this remix elevates the original into an even hotter pop anthem. With lyrics like “Talk to me in French/ Talk to me in Spanish/ Talk to me in your own made-up language,” the track documents the irresistible connection between two people who can’t get enough of each other.

Marvin Gaye- Sexual Healing This 1980’s soulful masterpiece needs little introduction, with its smooth groove and heartfelt lyrics. From the first note, Gaye’s velvet voice pulls you in, with lines like “I need some lovin’, and baby, I can’t hold it much longer” capturing a deep longing for intimacy and connection.

The ScriptThe Man Who can’t be Moved Released as the second single from their debut album The Script, this heartfelt ballad tells the story of a man refusing to move from the place where he and his lost love once met, hoping she’ll return one day. With poignant lyrics like “If one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me… you’ll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street,” the song explores themes of love, hope, and persistence.

FKA twigs- Eusexua Eusexua is the title track off FKA Twigs album, Eusexua, released in September 2024, It shows her ethereal vocals over a captivating, dreamlike production, with lyrics like “Do you feel alone? You’re not alone. And if they ask you, say you feel it, but don’t call it love, Eusexua.”

The MaríasNo One Noticed This song beautifully records the bittersweet realities of modern relationships. Known for their dreamy combination of indie pop and soul, The Marías take on themes of loneliness and the search for connection in the digital age. With lyrics like “Fly to your city, excited to see your face… Hold me, console me, and then I leave without a trace,” the song speaks to the fleeting, sometimes unfulfilling nature of relationships in a fast-paced, virtual world.

Harry Miles-Watson & The Union- Growing Pains EP Growing Pains is the debut EP from Harry Miles-Watson & The Union, showcasing two years of raw and honest songwriting that captures the struggles of early adulthood. With a mix of folk punk, rock, jazz, and classical influences, the EP features standout tracks like “Wisdom Teeth,” “The Fastest Path,” and the title track “Growing Pains.” Their energetic live shows have gained them attention, with sold-out performances in London, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, and support slots with acts like Skinny Lister and Apes of the State.

Paulina-Everything’s Still EP Rising pop singer-songwriter Paulina unveils her new EP, “everything’s still,” featuring three tracks: “stranger,” “funny (interlude),” and “a song I wrote.” The EP candidly explores the emotional aftermath of a breakup, inspired by Noah Kahan’s song “The View Between Villages.” Kicking off with the darkly seductive lead single “stranger,” Paulina reflects on how a former lover becomes a stranger after heartbreak.
