There’s a shimmer to Ana Luna, not just in her music, but in the way she tells stories through emotion. The Ukraine-born, Paris-raised, and now Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter has spent years quietly writing songs in between acting gigs, sketching out fragments of memory and feeling until they began to form a world of their own. That world now has a name: Tainted Silhouettes, her debut album, out November 7.
The nine-track record feels like a late-night drive through the mind, city lights outside, quiet chaos inside. Fans will recognize earlier singles like “Dance in a Trance,” “Daddy’s Empire,” “Can We Pretend We Just Met At A Bar?” and “Bleeding Pen,” but Tainted Silhouettes also unveils five new songs that push Ana’s sound into even more emotional territory. Dream pop, alt-rock, and moody ballads swirl together into something sultry and transcendent — a sonic diary for anyone who’s ever felt too much.
“Many of these songs weren’t written with a project in mind,” Ana explains. “They were simply me processing what I was feeling in real time. When it came time to produce the songs, I had one goal: to make them raw but cinematic — like your emotions had suddenly become something you could touch.”

And that’s exactly how the album feels: touchable emotion. From the haunting opening track “Fairy Tales” to the closing slow burn “Love Virgin,” every song blurs vulnerability and intensity until they become indistinguishable. It’s not sad-girl music — it’s self-discovery, scored like a film.
Ana doesn’t shy away from depth, either. “I’ve always been told I feel things too deeply, that I’m ‘too much,’” she says. “Instead of shrinking that part of myself, I leaned into it. These songs became my source of healing and understanding. They’re especially for the deep feelers — the ones who look inward, who want to understand, and who find themselves in the act of feeling.”
It’s that sense of honesty — paired with Ana’s celestial voice — that makes Tainted Silhouettes such an arrival. Every track sounds like it was born from a flicker of emotion, then stretched into widescreen. It’s music for heartbreak and rebirth, for those moments when you finally realize you’ve outgrown your old self.
Ana Luna may be a debut artist, but Tainted Silhouettes doesn’t sound like a beginning — it sounds like someone stepping fully into who they are.
