Let’s be honest — Elijah Woods has been that guy on your playlists for a while now. The Canadian-born, LA-based pop powerhouse has racked up over a billion streams, toured across continents, and even opened for Niall Horan. And yet, somehow, Can We Talk?, his debut album, feels like the first time we’re really getting to know him.
Out now, the 11-track record is a neon-lit diary — all the things he’s said, wished he’d said, or couldn’t quite say out loud. It’s pop with heart, gloss with guts. “Can We Talk? is the most personal project I’ve ever made,” Elijah admits. “It’s late-night thoughts, real conversations… basically, me trying to figure it all out.”

From the first beat, Can We Talk? feels intimate and cinematic all at once. It’s got those big, addictive hooks you’d expect from Elijah, but it’s also full of emotional curveballs, quiet moments that suddenly make you stop scrolling and just feel. The production is crisp but warm, proof that vulnerability and pop sounds can actually coexist.
The album’s opening track and lead single, “So Good,” is the kind of song that makes you want to roll the windows down and fall in love with life again. “It’s about that rush when someone walks in and suddenly everything feels lighter,” Elijah says. And honestly? It is so good — euphoric, bright, and built for repeat listens.
Other standouts include “Exercise Your Demons,” which turns emotional baggage into an anthem, and “Ghost On The Radio,” a breakup song that somehow still feels comforting. Title track “Can We Talk” hits in that raw space between longing and honesty — like a text you draft but never send.

What makes Elijah Woods different is how human his pop feels. He’s not afraid of the messy middle — the awkward pauses, the half-truths, the almosts. “I wanted the music to feel like people were sitting in the room with me while I figured it all out,” he says. And that’s exactly what it does.
Already armed with four JUNO nominations, platinum certifications, and five EPs in just three years, Elijah could’ve easily played it safe. Instead, Can We Talk? feels like him stepping into something bigger — more open, more honest, more Elijah.
Catch him live this December in Brooklyn and LA (tickets are flying), and stream Can We Talk? everywhere now. Whether you’re crying in your car or dancing in your kitchen, Elijah’s got the soundtrack ready.
